| WISTERIASTAR See me in a new light Slashing claws, snapping jaws with yellow stained teeth, and breath so foul it made her eyes water. She felt her maw open in a shriek, and yet no sound came out, as she struggled against her attacker. Finally opening her eyes, she would stare up at the former leader, the first, sneering down at her with a wicked grin she had never seen on his face before. I should have known you would fail me. Words he had never spoken, but Wisteriastar was haunted by all the same sounded off like a gong in her ears, and as she finally went limp in defeat the sound of laughter suddenly hit her ears and she jolted awake. Her chest heaved with pants, eyes still large and dilated from her nightmare. It took her several heartbeats to calm down enough that she groaned and rested her forehead on the edge of her nest. The nightmare was always the same ever since their first leader was killed by The Beast. The impending doom of failure hung over the young molly's head like a dark grey storm cloud whenever she was alone. Wisteriastar knew she was simply being foolish, her predecessor have never once spoken such awful words to her, and yet she still feared failing him. In failing her clan. Taking another deep breath, she finally lifted her head to look around her cave den, loneliness creeping into her chest to replace dread. She missed sleeping among the other warriors, listening to their quiet breathing or snores always helped quiet the darkness in her mind, but this was the den the first leader had slept in, and as the current leader it had seemed expected of her to move into this space after receiving her nine lives. Oh. That's right. She had nine lives now. The memory of her ceremony among the stars flooded her mind before she shook her head and rose, today was a new day, no need to dwell on the past. Focus on what she could do today. Wisteriastar would give herself a quick grooming before letting her usual expression of patient grace settle upon her face and pushing past the ivy that shielded her den entrance from prying eyes. A smile of contentment would touch her lips as she watched her clanmates mingle below her, and her silver paws would carry her down the cave wall face, landing on the ground with the barest of thuds before making her way over to a growing group. The glow of the glow worms overhead cast greens and blues onto her clanmates' pelts and she felt her chest warm in pride as she meowed softly, "Good Morning everyone. Has anyone seen Mothdust?" Her deputy should be around here somewhere, perhaps they could go over the days' duties together? Female - 18 Moons - Leader - speech |

TWINSTRIKE - TOM - 20 MONTHS - LUNARCLAN "Nope." replied Twinstrike dully as he paused the lazy grooming of his chest just long enough to answer. He'd only just gotten up himself and one could see it reflected in the short, ruffled fur along his muscled frame, which he was half-heartedly attempting to tame.
The chimera was more than at home in the dimly lit cavern, having practically spent the majority of his life growing up beneath the branches of the magnolia trees and seeking shelter behind the rushing falls that obscured their camp. Today was just another day, and soon he'd be out in the territory hunting down prey or remarking borders.
"Wanna share some breakfast? I'm not in the mood to eat an entire shrew." he offered.

ive fallen in love Palecloud of Lunarclan|| she/her || single The day had just begun when things started to go awry in the depths of the Lunarclan camp. The sudden passing of their previous leader, this mysterious sickness and the worry that encased the clan was just- too much. It had cats on edge but no one was more on edge than that of Palecloud. The timid she-cat had confined herself to the warriors' den for the last few hours just to try to settle the knotting ball of nerves that struck her insides. She didn't want to pass from the Beast or the sickness, she didn't want to die at all from anything! Orange hues looked up at the sound of a voice, and relief all but washed over her pale tabby coat. Palecloud finally pulled herself from her nest and padded towards the entrance of the den to find that Wisteria had returned! Palecloud brightened slightly before shrinking back down, timidly making her way across camp to her best friends side. " Oh I am so glad you're alright," Palecloud spoke so softly her voice was barely above a whisper, and she pressed her muzzle into the others' shoulder comfortingly, " How did it go?" She glanced to Twinstrike as well as he was there too and she flushed brightly at the notion of the young tom sneaking up on her. Though Palecloud was startled by her own shadow most of the time, so sneaking up on her wasn't an issue. Speech

| WISTERIAGAZE See me in a new light Wisteria would feel her form relax as the first to speak up was Twinstrike. She had always liked the tom, something about his cool and calm demeanor always soothed her and as he offered her a share of his breakfast she would dip her head in gratitude. "I would love to, thank you." She would move to settle beside her, her gaze still looking around to find her deputy when another familiar scent drifted over to her and she let out a soft purr as Palecloud appeared at her side. She would return the comforting touch with her own, brushing her tail against her friend's flank as she let out a soft sigh. Memories of the ceremony flashed before her eyes once more, the shock that blazed through her with each life gifted to her. A barely visible shudder would pass through her before lightly shaking her head and offering Palecloud a smile, "It was....something." She seemed to struggle with the right words, feeling like the experience wasn't something Astralclan wanted her to speak about. "The whole thing felt...sacred. And...Moonstar was there..." The name of the old leader would hold a tremble of emotion in the young Molly's tone. But she would simply clear her throat before attempting to change the subject, "Are you joining us for breakfast too, Palecloud?" Female - 16 Moons - Warrior - speech |
