Days before Lunarclan's meeting, she'd gone out herself for a quick patrol by herself, to get fresh air away from the clan's camp and just briefly away from Obsidianglare. The dark colored tom she sadly called her 'father' was...to say the least, overbearing. Mothdust hadn't intended to be gone longer than an hour or two at most, but it was days. Days she was tangled in what seemed to be some sort of net trap. The first few days, she hung in the air, tangled in thick rope the was tied high into a tree, gnawing and clawing at the ropes in hope it would fray and loosen just enough...Alas, it never did and she had given up. She had exhausted herself so much trying to save herself. She was tired, starving, thirsty, and hot.

No one from the clan had seemingly worried or tried to come out looking for her and Mothdust couldn't help but wonder if she was truly that much of an asset to the clan she had devoted her life to.

Then her saviors had seemingly come out of no where. A young grey cat with bright amber hues and a large, white and orange patched tom had freed her from the netting. Bean and Flame. She possibly owed her life to the two. If they hadn't come, there was a high possibility she would've died right there and no one would ever know.

Back to camp, Bean and Flame followed, Flame quickly convincing the molly to allow them to join the clan. Flame claimed Bean wasn't doing too well, the young cat showing symptoms of being ill of sorts, and the tom didn't know what to do. He was Bean's guardian, the young grey cat essentially becoming like his own when their parents were tragically killed when they were young. The orange and white tom was best friends with Bean's parents and Bean was the last thing he had to remember his friends by.

It was tragic and touched her heart, so she agreed to allow the cats to take refugee in her clan, get Bean the help he needed. She trusted them. They had saved her when in reality they could've left her to die. If Wisteriastar tried to turn the two away, Mothdust would surely have an uproar.

With Flame and Bean behind her, Mothdust stepped through the ivy covering the entrance of Lunarclan's camp.

Black ears twitched and swiveled, soft blue eyes flickered around at the bodies of cats mulling around camp. Eyes blazed in pure annoyance and frustration, dark fur fluffing out as she marched further into the camp.

Truth be told, Palecloud had tried to convince the others to go find Mothdust. To see if her friend was a live or not, but the thought of being out in the forest and wondering for who knows how long seemed terrifying to the young she-cat. She could barely leave camp on her own let along go off on patrol or something to try to find the black molly. The pale tabby cat had been sitting in the shadows of the apprentices' den, curled in on herself, and then looked up as new scents wafted through the camp.

Orange hues blinked a few times from her spot in the shadows, and then her fur bristled before excitement took over her chest. Palecloud got to her paws as quickly as she could and scurried across the ground to greet her friend whom seemed to have annoyance in her blue gaze. Ears flattened to her head and she lowered herself submissively as she approached Mothdust with these two new cats she didn't know.

"Mothdust! Y-You're back!" She stammered excitedly but seemed to flinch at her own loud voice, and quickly lowered it to a soft whisper, "I didn't think you'd come back," The thought had plagued her day in and day out, that her friend was dead some where in the forest and she couldn't do anything about it. Maybe wait for Astralclan to have them reunite, but there was no need for that now! She was back and safe, with two new friends! Speech

Whitepeach

The fur along Whitepeach's spine bristled as she scented intruders, annd in a matter of moments she was at Palecloud's side. Her eyes were full of distrust as she looked at the two, noting that the smaller seemed off. Had they not had Mothdust as an escort, Whitepeach would have been quick to chase them out. Her gaze turned to the clanmate who had been lost for a days, and this time they showed relief. She'd been on constant watch for any signs of Mothdust on every patrol and hunt she'd gone on, but no trail had ever been picked up. Whitepeach had assumed the worst, as had many other cats within the clan. "Glad to see you in one piece, we were worried about your here. Thought you'd run off to SolarClan," she said, one ear flicking back. "Let's get you a meal and a medicine cat. I'm curious to hear who these... friends of yours are, too." Whitepeach turned her head over her shoulder and called out for the authority of the clan to come. "Wisteriastar, Mothdust is back! Brought some loners with her."

WISTERIAGAZE See me in a new light Wisteriastar was exhausted, the youthful molly's tail was held a bit lower in the days after Mothdusts' disappearance. Patrols had been sent out in search of the deputy. But, with things being tense as they already were, with her leadership already being questioned and now this strange illness wreaking havoc in their home, the searches had been kept secret for the sake of maintaining some form of order within the ticking time bomb of a clan. The leader was talking to some older warriors, trying to keep her composure despite their clear passive-aggressive remarks, when Palecloud and Whitepeach's voices reached her ears. The leader whirled her head around and her heather-blue gaze landed on her second in command. The group she had been speaking to was forgotten and Wisteriastar would bound over quickly, gut-wrenching relief making her almost faint as she stopped beside Palecould and looked Mothdust over carefully. She would note the frustration in her deputy's gaze, but they could have that conversation later, for now... "It relieves me to have you back home, Mothdust. We will talk later about what happened to you. But for now, Whitepeach is correct, rest and see Milkspeckle and Quietseed first." The last thing they needed was for Mothdust to now get sick after finally returning. Turning to the two loners behind her friend, her expression would become a bit more guarded, the serene authority that she was becoming known for, "And you two, what are your names?"
