Borage / Borage Leaves
Description: Easily distinguishable by its small blue or pink star-shaped petals and hairy leaves. Can also be distinguished by smell as well as sight. The best leaves are typically halfway up the stem, and has a zesty scent to them. Leaves can be dark green or grey-green in color, soft, and they lose their flavor when they are dried out.

Effect: Helps queens produce more and higher quality milk. Also helps to bring down fevers. Soothes bad bellies and relieves tight chests.
Bright-Eye
Description: Light pink with darker pink middles
Location: Suny areas, wooded areas, thickets
Usage: Crushed into a poultice mixture
Effect: Mix with lovage to help cure coughs
Broom
Description: Shrubs with small leaves and small yellow flowers. Flowers are often solitary, but can also come in pairs
Location: Grows in the Solarclan territory. Can also be found during Leaf-Bare
Usage: Ground into a poultice
Effect: Used in poultices that can help broken legs and wounds.
Burdock / Burdock Root
Description: Tall-stemmed thistle with a sharp smell and dark leaves. Has a bitter taste
Location: Borealisclan territory
Usage: The root is dug up, the soil washed off, and then it is chewed into a pulp
Effect: Soothes and heals rat bites especially if they are infected. Can give cats bellyaches if they eat too much of it. Numbs rat bites to the point a cat can not feel the pain. Also good for infected paws and other sores.
Burnet
Description: Medium green-colored basal leaves. Can occasionally have spokes of purple flowers.
Location: Solarclan and other general sunny areas
Usage: A traveling Herb. The leaves are swallowed.
Effect: Used to give strength. Good for expecting queens.
Catchweed / catchweed bedstraw / Catchweed burrs
Description: A plant with fuzzy green balls on long stems.
Location: Common in hedges and other low, shrubby vegetation. Found main in the Solarclan territory.
Usage: The burrs are put on the pelt where poultices are
Effect: Stops poultices from being rubbed off without hurting the skin.
Catmint / Catnip
Description: A tall, leafy, and delicious smelling plant. Has gray-green leaves, stem is hairy, and has pale purple flowers. Is easily killed by frost. Looks like nettles but doesn’t sting.
Location: Thrives in areas with dry soil and is very tolerant of dryer conditions, like that of Solarclan.
Usage: Eaten
Effect: Best remedy for deadly greencough, which cats (mainly kits and elders) can catch in leaf-bare. Also useful for whitecough. Considered highly dangerous in extremely high doses.
Celandine
Description: Yellow flower with four petals. Celandine poppy have bigger petals, whereas the greater celandine are smaller
Location: Grows in both Solarclan and Eventideclan, but possibly grows better in the forest.
Usage: Crushed into juice and trickled into eyes
Effect: Soothes weakened or damaged eyes
Chamomile
Description: A small, white flower with a large yellow center
Location: can be found in sandy-like soil. Best in cooler areas

Effect: Strengthens the heart and soothes the mind. Also given to traveling cats for strength

Description: A sweet-smelling plant with large, leafy, fern-like leaves and small white flowers. The roots are described as being knobby and brown

Description: Tall-stemmed plant with fat, almond shaped leaves.

Cob Nuts
Description: A smooth brown nut with a hard outside shell. A type of hazelnut

Cobwebs
Description: Long, Thin, shiny strands spun into a web by spiders. Very Common

Description: A flowering plant with yellow or white flowers resembling dandelions. Grows best in newleaf

Comfrey Root
Description: It has large leaves, small bell-shapped flowers, which are pink, white, or purple and fat, brown roots. Tangy smell

Effect: repairs broken bones or soothes wounds. Also used for wrenched claws. Can be used for itching or for inflammation on stiff joints. Also eases stiffness on wrenched shoulders when lined in a nest. Can be used for burns.
Daisy Leaf
Description: Thick, dark green, oval shaped leaves

Usage: Chewed into a paste
Effect: eases the pain of aching joints. It is also a traveling herb
Dandelion
Description: Common yellow-flowered plant with long, hollow stems. After flowering is finished, the flower transforms into s sphere made out of hundreds of smaller white florets with sead heads at the bottom that connect to the flower head.

Usage: The white liquid is thought to be applied to bee stings. Leaves can be chewed. The roots can also be used to help cure the affects of meadow saffron poisoning
Effect: Thought to soothe and heal bee stings. Its leaves can also be chewed to act like a painkiller
Dock / Dock leaf
Description: Common, big, dark-green large-leafed plant with a tangy smell and taste
Location: Doesn’t grow well in mountains, best in leafy areas. Grows near streams as well.
Usage: chewed up and applied to scratches. Similar to sorrel. Also can be put in ones nest during sleep
Effect: Soothes scratches, though can sting when being applied. Soothes sore pads. If placed in nests it can ease the pain of wounds. Can be used to help practice healing group mates.
